surgeon postponed surgery

Has anyone been scheduled for surgery then cancelled 2 weeks out by the surgeon?

Melody, Dr. Roc postponed my surgery on the day of til' 3 weeks later. Read my profile for details. Thank God he did, it probably kept me from lots of problems. I did great when my surgery was done. If Dr. Roc cancelled there's probably a good reason. Feel free to email me! Lynne

I know Dr. Roc is the best, and I know we have to do what he says, but is it really necessary to be so cold when he chastises you ??? He spoke to me the same way on Friday because I had gained 5 pounds before my surgery scheduled for the 18th. I left his office feeling like he didn't like me or something. Does he ever get more friendly or is he always like that ??? Everyone else there is so nice, that when you see him it's kind of like cold water thrown in your face. Just wanted to vent. Absolutely, I've been postponed twice. That's why it's hard for me to believe it really is next Monday. Hang in there. Did they say why or give you a new date? denise

Why did he cancel? I have Dr. Bauman and mine is scheduled for April 18th but now he has me tracking down surgery information from 10 years ago !!! It's so frustrating !! Did he reschedule your surgery date ? I'll be praying that things fall into place for you. The stress is just unbelievable !!! Best wishes, Rhonda
