Possible Move to North Carolina

O.K. First of all I am a 2 year post opt patient and hubby and I are toying with the idea of leaving California and one of our sites is North Carolina, maybe the Raliegh and Durham area. First question is are there a lot of support groups in those areas and second of all what is the weather like there in the Summer and Winter. I have been successful in my journey and would like to contine to go to support groups if we move. Since my computer is down at home I would appricate any information that you all might be able to provide. I know southen people are very friendly so I am looking forward to a lot of response. yes it is [email protected]. I would love to hear from you. We are really looking at all things from housing to weather before we make the move. We hear it is just beautiful there and the houses are so nice from what we can see on line. Major concern of course is the weather, we are spoiled here in CA. but trust me we pay the price for good weather.. Thanks, Kathy

Hi, We used to live in San Francisco area and loved the weather. We are now in Virginia and soon we also will be moving to the triangle area. My husband starts his job on the 23rd. Because of a lease, I have to stay put for a few months grrrrr. Anyway, I know there is a support group in Cary that meants twice a month on a Monday. Haven't been to one yet though.
