Well here we go....
Well I am starting the all liquid pre-surgery diet tomorrow. I feel like it's the "real" start of my journey. I am dreading it a little but excited at the same time. of course that CIB in those mugs. Also, I know that we are suppose to take B-12 each day but my packet from Dr. didn't say how much. When I went to Walmart to buy some there were 4 different doses. I got the 1000 mg but wasn't really sure. Any help as alway is appreciated.
Good Morning Shannon,
Congratulations and welcome to the journey of your life...Wish I could help with the b-12 question, but my doctor gives me a shot once a month for my b-12 requirement - would suggest you call yours to check on the correct dosage, also most people who take it as a supplement take sublingual, is that what you bought?
I really wanted to e-mail you because I saw on your bi-line you're from Iron Station - I never thought I would meet another person who even knew where Iron Station was...I spent alot of time there when I was growing up, my great-grandparents owned a farm by the railroad tracks in iron station and we often went to visit them in the summer time...Seeing the name brought back some sweet memories...
Good luck

I remember the liquid diet. It was not as hard as I thought it would be. Because I was a huge taco bell fan. Never thought I could give up taco bell. But I have now. Nothing there looks good to me anymore. I went on my liquid diet june 1st. 2005. I will be a year out July 5th. It has not been a easy road for me. But I am glad I had it done. I thank god for all he has done for me. I never thought In a life time I would be this little. I can't wait till I go for my dr. visit on June 7th. The doctor has not seen me in a while. I think my weight was around 140 when he saw me. I am down to 108 now. He wanted me at 110. So he will be happy. God bless. Good luck to ya.
