Hello NC
Hey everyone,
My computer has been in the shop again and I just got it back. Hopefully now after replacing the hard drive three times and now the Motherboard, hopefully I will stay up and running for a while. I went through a plateau stage but now I am losing again ( even some of my hair ). It feels so good buying normal sized clothes again. I went to belks the other day and found two extra large tall shirts that I like and bought them. I used to wear 3XLT and figured the 1XLT would be fine. I guess when I was wearing the 3XLT shirts before the tall part was to help cover my belly because these 1XLT came down almost to my knees. I have seen some of these young girls with skirts a whole lot shorter. I ended up taking them back to belks and exchanging them for just LARGE shirts with no X at all. I still have a way to go to get to my personal goal and I will get there. I sure did miss everyone at the last Gastonia meeting and will be looking forward to June 5th. I hope everyone is doing well. I am feeling absolutely fabulous, well except for a few aches and pains here and there. Still haven't yet and hope I don't. I am keeping up my exercising too.
Take care,
Jeff
Jeff,
I am really glad you are doing well. I know it feels great to be on the losing side. I can't wait to get to the point where I can wear normal clothes!! I noticed that your surgeon was Dr. Lowe. I have my wls scheduled with him on 6.14.06. How did you feel about Dr. Lowe? I really like him so far. Anyway, good luck and I am glad you are doing so well.
Thanks,
Shannon
Hey Shannon,
I have been very pleased with every aspect of my surgery. One word of advice is to follow his instructions and you will be successful as well. I had my surgery on Dec. 27, 2005 and I have lost over 115 lbs. I can just barely see where my incisions were. I have kept on a very rigid exercise regiment and feel that has made the difference.
Good luck,
Jeff
