I know everybody raves about the magic bullet but the $60 price tag is a little high for me. Anyways at Wal-Mart today I came across a personal blender for 17.99. Its basically a mug that attaches to a blender thingie... after you mix, you unscrew put the lid on the mug and you are good to go! Its perfect for me for work and not a bad deal at $20. Just thought Id share. Yesterday I went to Earthfare in South Charlotte off Johnston Rd. They have about 20 different flavors of Protein Powder Packets as well as quite a few brands! I picked up a few to check out and see how they were. They also had the vegeterian protein and unflavored. I got Vanilla, Berry, Chocochip Cookie Dough and Choco Pnut Butter. Too good to be true!! Now lets hope they dont taste awful!

I'm glad you found the blender so inexpensively. I used my Magic Bullet a lot for the first couple of months, but as I began to be able to hold more at a sitting, I started using my regular blender and I've not used the MB at all for the last 6 months... Also, everyone's different, but I found I could not tolerate sweet protein drinks for a long time... and I still cannot tolerate over 6 grams of sugar in anything at one meal... Hope this helps some. Good luck....see you on the losing side! Pam 5'2" 282/170/145

Thanks for telling us about Earthfare. I love protein samples because I get a variety and not stuck with a big tub. How much were the packets? I'm gonna go check Earthfare out soon. Kay
