HI EVERYONE!!!!

Hi Friends, I got home last night about 7:30.. Thing have gone really well. I am dring usopureas much as possible adn sip,sip,sip water inbetween. I still have a LOT of gas, I feel pregnant again. Hopefully that will be gone soon. :-l The worst thing I have found is trying to get comfortable to sleep. It is impossible for me lay in the bed and I have found a fairly comfortable way to lay on the couch with pillows tucked. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks to all of your prayers and well wishes, I felt everyone. Also HOW WEIGHT did everyone gain in the howpital? I gained 17lbs!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! My Dr. told me that he really would load me up with the fluids to prevent dehydration but I never dreamed I would gain that much!!!!! Well off to the couch for a snooze and I will be back later. THANKS EVERYONE!!!!! Pat

Pat, Glad to see you home and doing well. Take it easy and follow doctors orders. My surgery is Tuesday May 16th. I wish you a speedy recovery. Hugs, Wanda

Welcome home Pat!!! I gained 10# of fluid but it and another 10# was gone pretty fast. I couldnt lay down flat for several weeks it seems. Propped myself upright in the bed took my Lortab totty(sp) and slept like a babe. Take your meds. I got thrusha t aboput a week or 2 out ..that was weird. But other than my left side where the bus drove thru, recovery was uneventful Good luck and god bless. Gail

Hi Pat!!! So glad to see your home and doing good. I hope we can all get together when you're feeling up to it. Allison and Gavin are away for the weekend. I hate I missed seeing you in the hospital...always happens like that at work. I gained 5 pounds in the hospital and you won't believe this but I had to sleep on my tummy to get comfortable...something about the pressure helped. I know it sounds weird, but Dr. Melkonian promised I couldn't hurt anything. I just had to be careful getting into position You take care and let us know when you feel up to a visit!
