I went with Boost. I travel a lot and did not see me doing any mixes if I was on the road for work.
It was bearable on Day 1, not sure how it's going to look by the 17th.
I'm getting a fairly persistent headache - I hope that doesn't last.
OMG...I so know what you mean...It taste like between a raw cake mix and pudding mix...ugghhhh.....I thought I was gonna be sick

I just had "breakfast ".
It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks.
anybody had there first year follow up with Dr Boisvert. Just wondering if he does a year follow up?
does anyone remember if the 2 cups of veggies were allowed on boost are raw or cooked or both?
Nothing can truly prepare you for the reality of how little you will be able to consume at a time. Before surgery you think you have a pretty good idea of how things will be and of course everyone who is still waiting will search the internet and scour the forums for info (at least I know I did) and even after having 2 sisters go through the surgery one a year and a half before me and one 3 weeks before me...I am still shocked at how different my eating habits are. So far today and it is now 4:40pm I have had 524 calories 32g carbs and 49g protein. 5 months ago I would of been at at least triple that for each amount I am sure. That is the amazing part of this surgery!!

I was later in getting in than most because of a clerical error - it's a long story.
But the point is, try not to concentrate on the the wait time - it'll drive you around the bend. You're in, you've been referred - it will happen and you need to try not to obsess over the clock.
