Hi everyone i'm just wondering if anyone has gotten to see Dr.Boisvert recently and how long you waited ? My Dr. finally agreed to refer me about a month ago but would only refer me to one Dr. so I chose Boisvert in hopes his wait time was less, his secretary told me 4-7 yrs though LOL I am just wondering if thats about the right time frame i'm looking at :)
Im having Dr.Semerjian as my surgeon. Im just wondering what is it I drink while im on the 2 week liquid diet before surgery? I know ill find out when I meet him and the information session but just curious. Can you fill me in as well what goes on at the information session. Thanx!
That's awesome! I'm still 40 lbs from goal but have been thinking more and more about skin removal with each passing day. My arms are the worst and I am so self conscious about them!! I told myself that once I hit goal I am going to make an appointment to at least go talk to someone about it. I find the thoughts of the pain and the cost equally frightening. LOL! Please keep us posted!
I don't remember where I read it, but I remember reading somewhere that you have to successfully keep the weight off for a year before plastic surgery will be covered.

hello everyone, I had gastric sleeve on April 28, 2015 and have lost 136lbs I'm almost at my goal weight. I have 14lbs to go. How long are you suppose to weight to get breast lift and or tummy tuck. To be honest I'm really lucky and my stomach isn't that bad my breast are. I'm only 29 and feel like I have saddle bags I know sorry tmi. I would love for people to share their info or experiences with me. Thanks
I've had my blood work done, and my first appointment with the dietitian is done, I go back to see her again next week. After that I meet with Boisvert and hopefully get a date soon. I am at the top of his list, I am the next patient of his to be sleeved. In less than a year and a half and I am at the top... I am anticipating that it will be probably sometime this spring.
I can't wait to buy a new winter coat for next year :)
Also there is one in Bathurst and it's actually a clinic of bariatrics. Their wait list is a lot shorter, i was on all list and took my name off the list after my surgery.

I really didn't have any issues. My mother was concerned because she had so much leftover sweets when we left. I had a cookie or a small piece of pie but one or the other not both and very few throughout my visit. I didn't feel deprived and had a great visit.
I have a good feeling and really believe that I will be able to lose the weight and keep it off. If I can be completely surrounded by my favourite sweets and not overindulge and not feel deprived.....I feel good about my chances of success!!
