Compounding the problem is that he was really very good. My experience with him was tremendous.
Maybe he has enough procedures under his belt that he's moving on to his own practice somewhere else?

I was going to be having Dr.Semerjian as my surgeon. I got a call the other day from the Bathurst Clinic telling me I wouldnt be having my next appointment to meet my new surgeon until probably October. They arent sure when the new surgeon is coming yet or who it is. Ugh I was hoping to be having my surgery by then. So the wait goes on....
It will be 2 years in June I had my operation done. He is awesome (very dry) but I had no complications at all and have done very well since. As he will tell you "Its a tool" you have to be wise and use it right for success. Good Luck.

I met with Boisvert on March 8th, and it was a good appointment. Tons of information, a lot of it spent going over the potential risks of surgery. I'm still going through with it. To me, potential risks outweigh the inevitable outcome if I keep going down the road I've been on my whole life. I did do the 2 week liquid diet before I saw him, and got through it alright. The first few days were hard, but after that I kind of hit a stride and was alright.
I was hoping that everything was good to go, but he wants to redo the scope that I had done a year ago in Moncton. I'm getting that done this Wednesday, and hopefully it won't take long to get the results. I'm getting worried with the time frame though, because I spent my summers competing with my pipe band, and if we keep getting delayed (my GI scope was already bumped once) then I won't be able to play. I won't be able to carry my drum for about 6 weeks after surgery, and I'm getting stressed. I know that ultimately the surgery trumps band, I just love playing so much.
You look amazing!! Im having the sleeve done in Bathurst. I had my first appointment, now just waiting to meet my surgeon Dr.Semerjian. You have made me even more excited and I cant wait to get this done! One thing I keep thinking about is what am I going to do with my excess skin. What do you do right now?
Hello, my starting weight was very close to yours and after reading your post it gives me hope that I will reach my goal! I am almost 8 months post op and it has been the best thing I have ever done for myself! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing! I am almost 14 months out from my sleeve (done by Dr Savoie) and am down 176 lbs. I've still got 10 lbs until I get to Dr. S's goal and 30 lbs to go until I hit mine. These last lbs are coming off painfully slow. I know I'll get there though. Eventually.
