There are different things that have protein that you can eat, rather than just adding powder to everything...have you tried mixing a sugar-free pudding with a plain Greek yogurt??? Some add a twin to it too...but really if you have the right mix, it is like a creamy pudding with protein in it....just stay high protein to start off with and you will be fine...good luck
I stir it in with yogurt to a texture I can tolerate. I have been using chocolate protein powder with vanilla yogurt, the vanilla should go with almost any flavor yogurt out there.
I am struggling with protein powder. I bought vanilla and can't stomach a protein shake. Anyone have any creative ideas how else to get it in? I did mix a scoop with peanut butter and a little milk and made a pudding consistency and it is really tasty but kind of getting bored of that. Any other ideas?
I haven't heard of anyone having any consults lately but there is a lot of people on here that just read and don't comment as well as a lot of people that are having surgery that aren't even aware of this forum.. Good luck.. I was May 2009 and had my surgery Jan 20th... Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!
I am hoping everyone is doing well. I have been reading of of your accomplishments, and I gotta say you are all doing wonderful.
My question is , has anyone on here know if any consults were made yet. I am still waiting for a call. I have been on the list since October'09. Seems like forever that's all.My doctor is Dr.Savoie in Bathurst.
Thanks. My follow up appointment will be at the end of this month with Dr. Savoie and I am worried that he will say I haven't lost enough.
Yes it did a little but better than the past few weeks. I don't know what it is but I seem to get stuck for a bit and then when I post on here about lack of weight loss then bang the scale goes down the next day. My journey is definitely a crazy one
