I wish I was on boost instead of this powder stuff it's not that bad tasting but I fine it leaves a chalky taste in your mouth now I just down it to get it over with but I'm getting us to it.
I started my boost on Monday 4 a day, plus water and if i want crystal light, im having a really hard time today with it, its only been 3 days and the 3rd day isnt even over yet, does anyone have any suggestions on what else i can do or how else i can take the boost to make it less boring?
if you are in bathurst, dr savoie told me not to use coffee but you can use extracts, like almond, lemon, vanilla etc etc and crystal light was good as someone mentioned above
you both are lucky, mine thinned out to the point of losing most of it i had to wear wigs. it started at 6 months and just finished (i will be two years in may). it is not half as thick as it used to be and i am taking vitamins, biotin etc etc. i lost a couple feet of hair. but one good point is, i now love my wigs. lol
i think i am in the minority here, most people seem to just have a three-four month spurt with the thinning.

Not sure how it would taste, I'm not yet to that point, but I thought someone at our day session or someone else who had the surgery suggested extracts, like almond or lemon, or coconut...?
My hair was thin before surgery and it thinned quite a bit more but has since plateaued and now improving. I will tell you that anytime my protein intake gets low I notice it within a day or two. I am told this will always be ongoing. I highly reccomend Hair/Skin/Nails multi vitamin. I get mine in the US at walmart its in a purplish and white bottle along with a fish oil (liquid and no it is not gross I get bubble gum flavoured). You will notice a huge difference with these!!
So glad to see you in here. I felt the need to pop in and see how ppl are doing. I agree Charline, the after life is an experience I was not prepared for. I encourage all to seek a referral to a psychologist or therapist of some kind to sort your brain out. It will be surprising the stuff that surfaces. I am down about 156lbs now and believe it or not have fallen in love with lifting weights and running!!
My saving grace was some instant coffee, you can use plain or flavored. We are allowed black coffee so I figured adding some instant coffee to the shakes was sort of the same and it has no calories. I also made them thinner than they called by using more water and also added ice cubes to make them really cold. I used a shaker bottle with a wire whisk ball inside (from GNC) and some of the water and the instant coffee and shook that then I added the shake powder and the rest of the water and shook that and then I added the ice cubes and shook it again. The instant coffee made the experience much better for me. Good Luck !

I have heard of people adding crystal light or sugar free flavors.
