Went today for my follow up. I am so glad that they changed the offices and now have a psychologist on board. Carol was telling me that there are plans to start a monthly support group as well. That is really good news for those that are close to that area.

I never thought to ask. But maybe that's a good thing! I would just try to figure out when it should be and that never bodes well for me. Then I get stressed if it's later than I think it should be. Maybe if I haven't heard by beginning of July, I'll call the new receptionist and check.
Hi rycat that's very exciting for you. Did you ask how many people are ahead of you for surgery? I know that it helped me to have a frame of reference to make the waiting a little bit easier to bear. It will be here before you know it. I can't wait for you and the others waiting to get to have this experience. I feel so blessed. Jillian.

Ok one more step down! Now the real wait for the surgery! I've been feeling a bit out of sorts thinking about the risks, but dr b is so matter of fact. He told me about his patients who died and why. I actually felt less stressed even as he was explaining it all to me.
Hopefully the weather will be good enough for you to get over! I had my consult with Dr. B in January which is why I was wondering when you had yours...can't wait to get the next call for the info session!!

Nausea and headaches are a sign of the ketosis. I am dreading that because those are two things I don't deal well with. I wonder how most people have faired with that??
