yes you can the first night I slept sitting up on the couch because I still had a lot of gas in my stomach and it helped with the pain of the gas. the tummy tuck they sometimes have to cut the muscel and that hurts more. the cuts they make on us are small and don't hurt at all the staples you have take a little time to get use to but they don't hurt I had more pain in my shoulder then were I had my surgery I think they pulled a muscel when they moved me when I was out.

Are you able to sleep in your own bed?  I don't know if the pain from the surgery itself causes to much pain to lie in bed. I remember when I had my tummy tuck I was over a week sleeping in a lazy boy chair.

Topic: going crazy

hi everyone. my surgery was march 1 2013 so I had my one year!!! the thing that is driving me crazy is that I lost a lot of hair but it was dead and damaged after weight loss. I got it cut January 7 2014 and it has never grown not even a little it is the same length since the cut and I have no idea what to do. I take all my vitamins, protein even tried bioten but nothing seems to help. I see a specialist may 7th in Charlottetown that handles hormone issues to see if that is the reason. PLEASE any help advice greatly appericated.

hi everyone just wanted let you know how I'm making out. I'm in no more pain only when I drink to fast it makes air in your stomach and gives you discomfort but it pass. Started to increase my liquids today from 1/2 cup to 3/4 so I'm not hungry as much had trouble getting in all the liquids they want me to drink because try to get used to swallowing with out making air. I go see Dr B on april 29 for my 3 week check up and I let you know how I made out with the weight lost so have a great week and lets all keep on losing together.

How are you feeling now Chris?  Are you able to sleep in your bed now?  How is the pain in the stomach area?  Hope you are improving with leaps and bounds every day!

Glad to hear that things went well for you too. They are wonderful in Bathurst. I can see why they were rated as one of the top 10 hospitals in Canada. Did Dr. Savoie or Dr. Semerjian do your surgery? Aren't they the cutest :)

So now the fun begins...scale drops quickly, clothes fall off faster, and trying to work out the whole fluids/food thing.

What an exciting time for both you and Chris.
