don't be nerves it's over before you know it. the nurses are great in keeping you relaxed and soon you be on your way to recovering and enjoying a healthier life style. I only remember talk to the nurse for a second in the operating room she said they are going give me something to relax and then said we are going to start and I was out and woke up a hour and a half later in recovery I was under a half hour longer then normal because of a hurnia they fixed to that I didn't know I had. So be brave and you get threw this with no problems and then the weight will disappear. let us know how you make out and a speed recovery.
All the very best! Hope to hear from you soon! Be good to yourself and speedy recovery.
My surgery is on Tuesday I hope that things go well I am getting nervous but excited at the same time
no I can handle a cup as well I try sticking to the diet though by just having a 3/4 cup. Went to the hospital last Monday due to pain in my shoulder just to be safe and had a lot of test done Dr B order a scan so I had to drink 2 beer cups of liquid I only manage to get down 1 and a half in a hour the nurse told me I had to drink it all I told her I will but you have to clean up the mess because I'm full and I'm going to get sick if I drink anymore I told her I only have 1/2 a stomach and she didn't know that I had surgery and that I was there to check for a leek in the stomach just say I was full for awhile after the test that turn out good. they sprain my shoulder when they moved me after my surgery when I was still out cold.
So on Monday I will be 2 weeks post op I'm doing great, and do the first time since surgery I actually felt hungry , I'm still on liquids until Monday and as of right now I can get in almost a full cup of soup or broth it takes me at least 30-45 mins but I can get it in no issues if I went more I would defenetly be sick, I'm just wondering if anyone else had this happen being able to get in a full cup or if maybe I'm pushing it ?
