I made my at work to we had a fridge with a freezer so I could keep ice there they are better with ice and I to used the magic bullet it blends it really well
Isn't that the BEST call?! Congratulations, your new life is just beginning. I concur with Lesley, concentrate on your first couple of weeks and it'll all fall into place.
I'd suggest Senokot (pink bottle with stool softener). I was always 'regular' but not after surgery. I haven't been regular since but recently started taking probiotic supplements and that's helping a lot.
Don't be surprised if your taste changes. Soups that I liked before, I thought were disgusting after. I was sick of water during liquid and puréed stage and wanted low fat chocolate milk but hated every brand I tried.
You're so close now! It would make a great birthday present for you :)
You might have headaches in the first day or two but they're run of the mill. I think I had a headache the first evening but that was just stressing myself out wondering if I could stick with it for two weeks. I haven't heard of anyway not being able to go to work because of withdrawals symptoms from the pre op diet. But I've been wrong before!
Took a magic bullet to work and ice cubes in a Contingo steel bottle. i never minded the shakes but also always made them with ice. I know some have used flavoured extract in them.
Nope no surgery date yet...they told me any day to get my call to go sign papers so I am anxiously waiting for it to happen.
I have also looked into the unjury stuff too but it looks kind of expensive

Did you guys prepare your shakes in the morning and bring it to work and keep cold, or did you prepare it at work?

I know about Ketosis happening when you are on the shakes and that it can cause headaches and nausea. I have heard this starts about three days after you are on the shakes. I am wondering if it will continue the whole two weeks on the shakes, or if you body gets used to it and you feel better after a bit? And if so, how long after for most people? I just want to prepare as I don't do well with either of those symptoms. Also, does tylenol work on that kind of a headache? I usually take ibuprofen and have been told not to take any for two weeks before surgery. I have prepared work that I may be out for the week before surgery because of those symptoms.
we had to do the diabetic boost when i went through it (Bathurst) and only had the shakes to choose from. funny thing is, i still drink them 2 years later. to make sure i am getting all my vitamins, i have a couple a week. some things never change haha
congrats on starting the 2 week phase soon, not long now.

Thanks for letting me know that. I was a bit stressed out about that test!
