i agree with cindy, i think mine started around day 2-3 and lasted like 2 or three days. mine was prob from caffeine withdrawal as well as other things. it went away and you body adjusts, at least with me it did.
not sure about the tylenol. i know i was told the same thing with aspirin products, dont take them in the weeks leading up to surgery as they are blood thinners. my dr said not to have them after surgery either. so i take tylenol when i need something
Dr. Boisvert did my surgery July 10th. He is excellent! I highly recommend him! His assistant, Erin, is also wonderful!
Dr. Boisvert did my VGS surgery July 10th. He was excellent! He was also highly recommended by a surgerical specialist in Halifax.
If anyone seeing Dr. Boisvert starts some type of support group, please let me know.
No, not at all. Maybe one the first day or two but I don't even think then. Mine was probably from coming off the pop (if I did get one).
As far as the shakes at work, all you can do is try them blended at home and refrigerated but I don't think it would be the same effect), just like a milkshake wouldn't be as good out of the fridge later. Try it but you may want to have a back up plan. I think I bought the Bullet on my way home that first day.
You'll get through it regardless and find something that works for you. Keep us posted, we're rooting for you.

So cindy and Chris you didn't have the headaches and nausea the whole to weeks? That's what I thought would happen and worried about it. I will try not to stress so much!

I don't find it more expensive than any other good quality protein. in the end, for me i rather pay a little more if needed if it means i am able to drink it without feeling the need to puke and get an after taste :)
I only had a headache for first day and it went away fast if you start giving things up now it easier I quit drinking pop a month before my surgery. your going get some bowl movements. I only got sick at the end I could only drink the chocolate shakes at the end because the vanilla ones made me sick so I used diet boost to replace my missing shakes.
