Anyone interested in doing a coffee time?? It has been a while since we met up....
I was on the waiting list with a doctor in Moncton for a few years and then about a year and a half with Dr. Boisvert after my referral was transferred to him. After I filled out all the paper work, I met with him a few months later and then a few months later was the surgery. You also have to see the dietician twice before surgery and my endocrinologist also saw me and referred me to a psychologist to see before and after the surgery. Most other programs have that type of team and I was lucky to have my endocrinologist set one up for me.
that is what i wanted to know thanks. what he uses to on you for the surgery. thanks so much. how long did it take for you to get in and have it done
I'm not exactly sure what you mean. You are put under and he does the sleeve (VGS) laproscopically. It takes about 2 hours. You're in the hospital for about 3 days afterwards on pain meds and you're sent home with some as well.
Which department did you call at the Bathurst Hospital to find out about your surgery and should I call only after my meeting with the anesthesiologist to see if my name is on the list?
Hi there, if I may ask, where did you go to have your surgery?
