Bathurst wait time...

Just curious if anyone know where they are at in Bathurst? I was referred in October 2013 and have not heard from them yet...

I was referred in March 2013, I got my first appt Oct 3, 2016, my 2nd appt Nov 4, and my all day session was Dec 19th. I am booked for surgery April 10th. So you should be hearing very shortly.

I had my first consult with the dietician, nurse and psychologist a few weeks ago. I was given a list of things to change in my diet and after I followed it for a month I am to call them back for the next "meeting". I am kinda nervous because I have hiatal hernia so they were not sure if I would be able to get the sleeve or not, they said I might have to travel to Fredericton for the bigger gastric bypass surgery. I really hope that is not the case because that surgery freaks me out. *sigh*

So now I have my consult with the surgeon on September 29th. :)

Am I like the only person on this thread??

Have you had the surgery? How did everything go?

You can call and they will give you an estimate of where you are on the list. When I was referred it was a 3 year wait and that was in 2015. I went and put my name in Fredericton and got the call last November and am having surgery this month (July 20). So maybe get your name in there as well if you still have a long wait. Good Luck.
