Worse day Ever!!!

Well I was booked for surgery On Jan 3rd at the DECH...it was cancelled due to no beds

Today I was scheduled, went there was told everything was a go, go changed, did my admission paper, and was waiting to be wheeled down to the OR...AND WAS CANCELLED AGAIN...No beds at the DECH 

I am not going to lie I Bawled like a baby 

waiting to hear what the hell I am supposed to do now...stay on liquids???when am I going to have surgery??? what do I tell my boss??? I took time off work and found a replacement, and husband took time off work as well...I am sooooo upset 

starting to feel like this was not meant to be at all, My Surgeon was in surgery and I wasn't able to talk to him before they ushered me out the door..

I feel Like I have been kicked in the gut...and I still don't have any answers

Awww man :( This so sucks.  I wonder if that means that I will get bumped again too?   Let me know when you hear from Erin.

I was just told that I won't be able to have it done now till the 30th 

so looks like I will be after you now

I am so bitter right now, can't stop crying 

I don't know the last time you got bumped so did I :( I would be so devasted to have been there ready to be wheeled and then sent home

This sounds so frustrating, I'm so sorry this is happening to you!  I would have cried too!  To have this happen not once, but twice...  no way I would have been able to stand it :(

The worse part about this whole thing is I have to do the Pre op liquid diet again!!!

Oh no!  That is horrible.  Everyone will be moved further ahead if there are no beds.
