I've always been more of a creeper than a poster, but enjoy reading all the posts.

I don't have much to add to this group but I creep and read everything that is posted.  I was referred for surgery in June 2011 and got a call from the Bathurst Clinic in June 2015.

I went for my first appointment June 17,2015, I meet Dr Semerjian September 10th, and an information session September 21st.  The Bathurst Clinic arranged all my blood tests and oxygen tests at the Chalmers in Fredericton in October 19th and 26th.  I then went for my appointment to meet the anesthesiologist, the nurse and the dietician on November 4th.

I was really hoping that I would be having my surgery in November or December but I haven't gotten any call.  Now I wait for my phone to ring and the caller to give me a surgery date.

Thanks to the boards I called Anne Marie, she suggested my surgery will likley be about 6 months after meeting the surgeon.  Not 6 months after my first visit to the clinic which is what I had thought they said on my first visit.

So I wait, add exercise and healthy choices to each new day waiting for the call.

I think it's a little bit daunting to people to post a lot.  We're all struggling and all in the same boat, but it can be disheartening to post something or ask a question, and see 100 views and no reply.

i posted something awhile back, with over 200 views, not one person replied.

so it make it hard to want to come here and participate when no one replies or not much support is given unfortunately 

I had my first appointment in Bathurst Sept.8th 2015. Im going to have Dr.Semerjian. im just waiting on my letter for when I get to meet him in the Spring. I didnt want to be travelling from Grand Manan Island to Bathurst in the winter. Im excited to get things going.  Ive heard nothing but good about Dr.Semerjian which is great! 

I felt the same way to. I have posted in the past and nobody really said to much, so I just left this forum. I just recently started reading again. It is nice to talk to people about their experiences whether good or bad, and their outcomes. It is a journey for everyone. Good luck to all.
