To call or not to call???

I've done all the testing, and signed the papers.  Now it's just a matter of playing the waiting game.  Did any of you call OR Booking to see if they would / could tell you anything about your date?  Between the waiting and the not knowing when I am falling a part :(

I was antsy too. So I called!  They wouldn't tell me much until it was when they booked me. 

How long between your anesthesiologist appt and your call?

My surgery was in Moncton. We don't have an anestisiologist appt. we meet them at the hospital on the day of the surgery. 

Not sure if it was just a coincidence, however I called Monique in Moncton to get an idea when I might get booked, and the hospital called with a surgery date within 15 minutes.  Was quite a happy day

Hi All, I spoke with Dr. B's office on Moncton and the receptionist told me that the surgeries being done in December of 2014 were patients who signed their final papers in June of 2014.  I signed in August of 2014 and was told that it would be closer to Feb. 2015 before I get my call.  I will keep you all informed if I hear anything/
