Update post-op

I am 6 days post-op. I had the sleeve done with Dr. Savoie in Bathurst. The team at the Bathurst Hospital is wonderful...from the nurses on the ICU to the nurse on the 3rd floor. I stayed at the hospital for 3 nights. The first few days were a little rougher...I was nauseous, did not feel like eating at all, and was in pain. I think the worst for me is the gas bloating and the pain at the cut where they took the stomach out. I am moving around much more now (went grocery shopping yesterday morning so alot of walking), drinking my 6 meals and sipping water in between. I have not been hungry at all since the surgery and what surprises me the most is NO cravings...even when I smell my favorite foods...but I know that won't last forever haha!!

just as an FYI, i am 2.5 years out and still never get hungry. i get terrible head hungry and sometimes just grab things out of years of the habit but not actual hunger.

i get a painful stomach though if i dont eat every so often
