I knew for me chances were very high because I knew in the class before ours they were 20 so I calculated fast in my head ( 2 doctors at 2 surgeries a week each  = 5 weeks ) and in my class we were 18 ( 18 at 4 per week was another 4.5 weeks) after waiting for 5 1/2 years I wanted it done so yeah I sat there and did a quick math hehe  I do hope you get it before the Holidays.

For the boost is not easy because I hate vanilla, allergic to chocolate so I am drinking manly strawberry. The dietitian said we could add some crystal light or Mio drops  in the vanilla to add flavor so today I used coconut  extract ( usually used for cooking)  and the orange essential oil ( young living which is edible) then add ice and put it in a bullet so it's easier but Holy 2 weeks is a long time :(

Awes! I am nervous about that part! Can u imagine being on boost over Christmas!! I'll cry lol there was only one other person in the actual class but today there was 12 people and one of them had her date already! So maybe just maybe I'll get there in a few weeks or so! I don't think dr semerjian has as many as dr savoie. The few people I talked today all had dr savoie which makes me think even sooner!!! Lol let's pray:)

chances are very high if they go all the way through Dec but I imagine they will stop for the Holidays and yes that would be hard to be on boost during that time. for me at least it's a month before and I think it will be hard enough as it is because I will still be on puree since I will only be 1 month out of surgery.

I was first refereed to Dr. Savoie but they changed me to Dr. Semerjian without asking so they divide them equally and they each do 2 a week.  Dr Semerjian does them on Wednesday.  so calculate 12 divided by 4 would be 3 weeks  so if you are on top of that list chances are very high my dear!   Fingers crossed for your sake!!!!

Wow joanne it went fairly quick to get your surgery date...I am with dr. Savoie...and 2 weeks ago was told that surgery would not be before 2-3 months and yesterday was told to wait 4-6 months...very confusing...

My 1st appt was in July and then an appt every month so a lot of travelling. I had to drive to Bathurst 5 times ( twice the same week so that sucked) so for  me it's 4 months after my 1st visit.  I was told by the Doctor  in September not until Feb because that is where they were at so don't get discourage my dear they always over estimate the time in case something happens.  Keep in mine the holidays are just around the corner. so that will cause a stall for a few weeks.  I'm not sure if you use facebook but there is a group page with a lot of valuable information that people are sharing from every where but it's a great place to read and get extra information. it's called "Gastric Sleeve Fall 2014 Support"

dont forget to keep receipts and to contact the hospital in the new year for your official list of visits to be mailed to you because you can claim these appointments and mileage on your taxes
