Two months
It's been two month s and things are going well I am down 56lbs and I feel better than I have in years.I am so thankful for the surgery and all the things I can do now I am happy to be a Canadian because I couldn't have paid for the surgery myself. It took me five years but it was very worth the wait.
way to go glad to here your doing so good. I can't wait for all our friends on this site to have there surgery too it's a long wait but at the end it's worth it. I was 388 when I started this journey and now I'm at 301.8 so the surgery did change my life I don't have take my dietbetic pills no more. I do a lot more things with my kids because I have the energy to keep up with them so have a great summer and enjoy this gift they gave to us I will because our journey has just begun.
hi I am new at this I had a info session at the Bathurst hospital with a psychologist nurse and dietician. They told me that my next appt will be to see dr semergyn and then another appt an anesthesiologist and a half day info session. They couldn't give me a time line. Anyone have any insight as to what I am looking at?
i have waited almost 10 years to get that far. i meet with the anesthetist on july 15. info session isnt an info session ... its your preop bloodwork, chest xray, pulmenary tests etc ... you will need a sleep apnea test too, so be pro active and book that.
i hope my is soon, dec is way to long. hoping for august
