I GOT MY DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Joanne1203, Ive been waiting since March of 2009, I havent head a thing since then Until I got a call to see Dr Savoie in Bathurst on Oct 18 2013  to sign the papers (my first apt with him) then i got a call for my Information session, Dec 3rd 2013, and then they called me Wed March 12 2014 and gave me a surgery date of April 7th :D  even though Ive been waiting a long time, and was starting to get discouraged, and was thinking I would have to wait until Aug or Sept for surgery,  It all now seems so fast lol, its really weird lol, ive done so much research, and studying on the sleeve,  and im totally 100% prepared and have been for a while,  but now that I got my call, I feel totally un prepard and TOTALLY EXCITED at the same time, :D 

that is so exciting. I know the wait is very long and at time we lose faith and then when we hear stories on here it's encouraging for us who still have to wait and wait. Good luck on your surgery and welcome to a new life after!

OMG, I believe we were at the same info meeting in December. I am crossing my fingers. I called and left a VM with the booking dept to see if they had any news on a date, then I called the Bariatric Clinic, and was told it was 6 to 8 months after the meeting. I am so excited for you. Keep us posted on your progress.

Hey Vanessa, my friend and I were there together, and her date was a little behind me as well, so hopefully it will be soon :D,  I called around the last week of feb and they told me the same thing,  they actually told e 6-10 months, I was starting to get so discouraged, and then all of a sudden I got a call for my surgery date It was totally unexpected, so hopefully being in the same session, you will be getting your call very soon

Congrats to you, it is a long journey but well worth the wait, it will be the best thing you could do for yourself, good luck see you on the 'loser' bench hahaha
