Just got cleared from the psychologist! Now to wait for my appt with dr b to sign the papers! With the new receptionist, I am thinking all previous time lines are out the window! The psychologist thinks I should be doing that within a month! Finally moving forward!

Thanks everyone. Was a bit of a downer every time I went to the psychologist and at the end she would say I want to see you again! I did three sessions, but have come a long way, even though I thought I was already ready! It's great though that I feel more positive in going on to the next step! What a roller coaster ride. My first appt was last April!

There is nothing more frustrating than this process!! I called the receptionist today and said that the psychologist told me I should hear from her in a week and get my consent signing appt in a month. She basically laughed at me and said it would most likely be longer than that! There are eight people ahead of me to sign there papers and she has to wait until the other receptionist calls her and asks who many people she has waiting. And then she will give out a few appts here and there. I wish dr b would get all the staff together in a room and they discuss the way everything fits together! Telling me nothing ref a time frame is much better than telling me something that isn't accurate!! Needed to vent again. Don't want to go crazy before this all happens!!
I know how you feel at my all day course in first week of july the nurse told us our surgery should be done by Christmas then when I sign my papers in nov20 doctor b told me in six months wait do to the wait time that would make it the month of may and that will be a year since I first had my appointment to see him.
but a had my regular nurse of my doctor office call the hospital booking office and they told her it strong chance it could be march so I hope she is right.
so don't get discourage your a lot closer to your date then you were 4 years ago and it's going worth the wait to enjoy your new journey life
