Hello everyone.. So on Monday it will be two weeks since Ive had my surgery and everything is healing well, meaning my incisions and tummy BUT my left side and back is so damn sore and hurts so bad when I move certain ways and I cant lay on that side... Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi, what kind of sore? What I mean by that is it is a sharp pain, a dull ache, all over, certain spots? I had a very sore back and sides after my surgery and I chalked it up to all the extra sleeping and sitting. I actually couldn't sleep because of it and spent  a few nights in a relciner with a heating pad and back massage pad. I also had my hubby rub A535 all over my back which was instant relief, I hope you feel better soon!

You have no fever or anything right?

I can actually say this week is the first time I did not have any discomfort in my left side. It was a pulling pain or like a stitch in my side as if I ran. I had no back pain though.

No no fever.. it must be just a part of the process.. Im a little worried right now though because I am getting a cold and every time I cough I have to hold on for dear life.. lol Trying to hold everything inside..lol But seriously I do have to be careful because I do have asthma, so  have to be careful not to confuse my sore back with my lungs..

I read on here somewhere that some dr's order a binder to wear post op and when I read it I thought I think that would probably work! My son had H1N1 when I was 1 week post op. I was so scared to get it and so was my family doc that she got me to take tamiflu. Knock on wood I never caught it!

Hi, have you tried alternating between hot and cold, I have a magic bag that goes in the freezer and microwave and I forgot to mention that I also used that for pain relief after surgery, and I still swear by that A535.
