How long did you go for follow up with your surgeon? 

my surgeversary is may (2 years) and i still go. i think he told me i will have to continue getting checkups for what i assumed was indefinitely

i think i had four visits to bathurst last year. prob will only be 2 or three this year.

Last time I saw Dr. B. was 2 yrs post op. They did call to arrange a 3 yr appt - but I couldn't arrange to get to NB that summer. I haven't heard from them since. But I do feel that if i needed to arrange an appt - it wouldn't be a problem. Cheers! 

my 2 years is coming up Feb 14th.  for the 1st year, you go more often, then after 1 year it was 6 months after at 18 months, he then told me he wanted to see me again in 6 months, however i haven't received an apt yet. Then i believe it's at least once per year. He said to be able to keep a file on a patient, they need to follow up at least once a year. i would be willing to keep going every 6 months, i feel if i would wait too long, i might give up on myself as i would have no one to impress with my continued progress!! haha

Need determines follow up schedule. I am coming up on my 5 yr mark in March and still go every 2-3 months.
