Does your scale at home weigh you the same as the hospital scale though? It could be thought or you know how our bodies hold fluid..Dont be discouraged..

devilOMG this is awful!! lol Just saying that word makes me sick...The first three days was really really hard... I was very hungry, but now Im not as hungry but the thoughts of it makes me sick to my stomach..lol But its weird because as sick as the thought of it makes me, when I have one its not so bad..Its weird, but I can tell you I will never ever drink another diabetic boost in my life after this..lol

Don't worry about the weight gain right now. It is all fluid. Others have mentioned that sometimes a weight loss will not show for about two weeks because your body is retaining fluids from IV's etc.

My only word of advice is don't become obsessive with the scale. I don't lose daily or weekly and never have. I decided to only weigh myself every two to three weeks as I get discouraged if I don't see progress on the scales.

Yes. For some people it is normal. The amount of fluids they pump into you with iv..a gain is totally normal. I was kept in 5 nights and on iv for 4 days cause of a dehyradration issue..i gained over 20 pds When i got home from the hospital. You will def lose what you gained and much much more..
