Anyone with dr b take boost instead?
I'm not sure but I think people must be able to do boost because if you don't have a credit card, you can't order the shakes. They can't expect or require that every one has a credit card I'm sure there are low income people who get this surgery too. I would call and ask if you were wanting to know for sure.

This thread has the nutrient values of Boost and the stuff that Dr. B subscribes.

Back when I had my surgery, I had bought some bars (they also had bars at the time) from a girl that had already bought them but didn't go through the surgery. I had enough bars to cover about 1/2 of my 2 weeks, and i was allowed to take Diabetic for for the rest, the taste is just awful however and will never drink a Boost for the rest of my life LOL . But it was all worth it in the end.

My friend did the surgery a year ago and she had the shakes. I don't think anything could taste as gross. And they have discontinued the bars so it's loads of yucky shakes. I'll do it for the surgery but if there's an alternative, especially more then 50% cheaper... Well that wins out for me. I just don't know if dr b would get angry?
