First Appointment with Dr. Savoie

Friday I had my first appointment with Dr. Savoie and we signed the paperwork for the surgery in the office. My 1/2 day information session is on December 3rd. I guess maybe I should stock up on some Boost

Glad to hear Vanessa,now I imagine it seems real. I am still waiting to at least get a call. It feels like I'm at a standstill. How long have  you been waiting. I t was 4 years last month since I was put on the list. Keeping fingers crossed I hear something soon.

My referral was the end of May 2009. Lots of patience, waiting, waiting, but it finally has arrived. Allow some slow down with Christmas upon us. Your in the home stretch now.

Honestly, it hasn't really sunk in yet. Maybe not until I am on the table.

I havent heard a word yet :( He originally said before Christmas but I called the O.R department and she said definitely not until after Christmas..Did he give you any idea as to when you may get done?

Hey Vanessa, My information session is on Dec 3rd as well, when you signed the papers was it a green sheet you had to fill out asking about medical history ect?

I signed the papers in Dr. Savoie's office; I had my mind made up on the gastric sleeve, so he got me to sign at that time. I went into the waiting room and then I filled out the "green sheets" regarding medical history.

Oh awesome I did the same thing, I went in ( blushed a little lol) talked to him told him i wanted the sleeve, talked to the dietician, sat in the waiting room signed the sheets, then got my letter last week that i have my information appointment on Dec 3rd 1245, so hopefully we will both be hitting up the grocery store for the oh so delicious boost ! :D
