After surgery food schedule

Hi - I had RNY with Dr. B. back in 2008. My blog from back then is pretty good and my profile is open for anyone to look at it. Don't stress over it too much. Follow the rules and instructions and you will be fine. My husband had VSG with Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta in May of this year - he didn't want to wait the 4 or 5 yrs it would have taken to get done here in NL. In any case - as for eating - when he follows the rules he is fine. He has had a few episodes where he has eaten too fast - hard to break old habits - and feels "stuck" for a while - but no terrible episodes. As for the energy - after my surgery - within a week and a half - I was back walking and feeling some energy. Which got better and better. My husband - not so much - but everyone is different. Follow the rules and instructions is my best advice to you - and go into surgery as healthy and positive as you can. I do believe that makes a big difference as well. Good luck!
If you are talking about my old blog posts - click on my name - go to my page and over on the right hand side of my blog area you will see where it says "archive". Starts back the month of my surgery - April 2008. I'm not quite sure how to look at my old message board posts other than hovering your mouse over my picture - click on latest posts, and then scroll back to see what you want. And what am I saying - you may not even be referring to me!
No Problem Rykat - and I'm 5 and a half years out - hard for me to believe. Keep in mind I had RNY not the VSG. I here to help anyone in anyway I can. I check the message boards every few days. These boards were so important to me as a pre op and in the first few years out. Heck - they still are. Only one who has walked down this road can truly understand the journey!
