First appointment with Dr Savoie!

I had my consult March 1/13, info session March 30/13, and surgery May 30/13. Double check on the length of the info session. I was told it was an all day session and made arrangements as I have to travel almost 5 hours to Bathurst and the session ended up being only 2 hours.

When I spoke to the nurse about it she was going to mention to the person that booked the info sessions to let them know that it isn't an all day session. (This may have changed in the past 4 months).

BTW congratulations on your consult. Really it may not seem like it right now but the time will go very fast and you will look back and not think that it was such a long wait.

Everything is going pretty good. Still learning the ropes though such as timing with liquids and I am 5 months out.

I had my first meeting with Dr savie in may did my all day course in end of june and every thing was approved in first of october so i have see the shrink on oct 31 at the dumount hostpital then sign my papers on nov 20 for the surgery then the waiting starts again to see when the day of surgery will be. they told me at the all day course it would be before christmas now they told me it be after.so i hope you get your appointment soon but we waited this long what is a little bite longer for a chance to change our lives

        

You are correct bigchris, we have waited this long, I really wish and hope and pray every night ( as im sure most of us do) that I will get my surgery before at least Feburary,  I want nothing more than to take my God Daughter to Marine land and the Toronto Zoo next summer and actually be able to enjoy it with her,  I mean if I cant I cant there is nothing I will be able to do about it, so if thats the case I will just have to wait until the following summer,  but it would be so nice to be able to actually feel comfortable to be able to do stuff , Im sure we can all relate, :D   i hope you get your surgery date soon bigchris,  its so exciting, and nerve racking at the same time, Good luck to you!!
