Pre op testing ?

 

I have had my first consult with dr. Savoie and am scheduled for info session on the 24th of sept.  After that is complete do I have per op tests or when does all that take place? I have already signed consent for surgery.

Pre Op tests for me were ECG, bloodwork, and respiratory testing. As I don't live near Bathurst the tests were done at my local hospital. I believe the tests were done 2 weeks prior to surgery and I had a blood test taken the day before surgery. The blood taken before surgery was to determine blood type (I thought this was a waste of health care funds as I have a card that has my blood type on it and your blood type does not change. I have carried the card for over 30 years.)

I go on the 24th too Anxiousgirl!! Maybe we will have our surgery's together too.. Good luck!

Oh wow! We will see you there. Did they give u any idea when your surgery might be? I am so impatient! I just want it yesterday!

hahaha no not yet!! Im impatient as well!! lol I cant flippin wait!! Dr. Savoie said I should be done before Christmas though.. thats all I got out of it... I will let you know as soon as I know..
