question about protien drink

I know Dr. B has a protein drink he wants you to get, but do you have to can you use an alternative?

At the info session I questioned that because dr savoie uses diabetic boost. They said they don't recommend the boost because it is more a supplement not a complete replacement. They said the shakes they use from Quebec have been made specifically for weight loss and that you should be followed by a dr. They are a complete replacement. It is only a little cheaper to buy the boost. They said with the boost you need to have five a day.

I think you can use an alternative because some people do not have credit cards to order the shakes so what would they do?

When i did mine, they still had bars, i had already bars that i bought from someone that didn't go through the surgery but had already purchased bars. I was allowed to do half bars and half diabetic boost.

Not sure if they suggest doing all diabetic boost or not, just talk with Rinette and she can let you know if you should or should not.

The product Dr. Beausoleil recommends is called Minogue Slim Time Nutrition, from Montreal.  It is actually pretty good.  Arrived at my door within 48 hours from the time I ordered it.  First two days were hard, but now I do not have any hunger pains between shakes (on day 6).  I may order more to have on hand for something quick.  I ordered the vanilla one, and tossing in some frozen fruit changes  the flavor around without adding a lot of calories (40 calories in 1/2 cup frozen fruit, according to info on back of package). 

how long are you on the drinks for and did you get a surgery date yet?  And thanks for answering by the way...I am excited for you that you are so close to getting this done!

I thought you couldn't have anything except the shakes and or mio or crystal light? Did they say you could eat fruit? That has natural sugars and I thought we had to avoid sugars. Sorry, just confused?

Dr. Savoie had me on 4 diabetic Boost a day. Maybe look up the nutritional contents of each one and see what the differences are.
