I haven't been on this forum in a very long time. I'm seeing Dr.Beausoleil today and will ask him to empty my band. The severe GERD, vomiting, nausea, inability to eat the simplest of foods is too high a cost to pay. I am still down 50 pounds from when I started, so that's a positive thing. I will just have to be diligent with my nutrition and exercise to lose the rest.

I have had my band repositioned, had a hernia repair, yet health seems to be in constant decline. If i had to do it over again, I would not get the band for sure. Best of luck to all of you on your journeys.

it is good to see you.  it has been awhile and i was wondering how you were doing in your journey.

im sorry to hear it did not go well. its positive to see that you are keeping some weight off and since you have put exercise and nutrition practices into place you will move forward and continue. 

that is frustrating that you will have to have surgery again but it sounds like it will be a positive move on your part.

let us know again how you are doing and keep in touch.

I now only have 3 cc's in my band, but I already feel so much better. I do not regret my decision and Dr. Beausoleil was very supportive. Feeling better will also mean more energy to go to the gym. I want to start running again and plan on running a 5K in the fall.

I don't blame you for making that decision.  The whole point is to be healthy. Thin means nothing if you are miserable.

i had my surgery on feb 14 13 an im doing awsome with the band been back twice now to dr savoie and no adjustments required lost a total ofb 93 lbs since nov 12 but since the op  83 lbs doin greattttttt yt clare
