Just got my first Appointment with Dr.B!!!!!

I am so excited i can hardly stand it! I called Natalie to see where the list was, and i was on her list to call! I was referred in May 2009. I go for my first consultation on July 29th! So glad i have quit smoking recently. Things are really starting to look up. Anyone else get a call recently?

R u on both lists or only dr.s? I think some people are on both.

That's so exciting! It's such a high when you're finally in the que and starting the process!  My referral was April 2008 (I was out of province), my first consult last June, all day session in July, approved in October, signed papers in November and surgery this past February. Enjoy this time, it's such a rush!

On Bathurst list since April 2009-still waiting for first appt letter; on list with Dr. B since May 2009-havent heard a peep.....

 

I called Friday and they are finishing the end of March and April so it should go fast for you.  lucky you I am only Dec 2009 and was hoping to get in by year end but from the looks of the overlap it  probably won't be until Feb 2014 

My referral was October 2008. I had my first appt in April and am now waiting for the all day session. I hope it's soon. Gotta call dr b's receptionist tomorrow and see what she says.

aggghhhhh!!!!  I just called Monique to check on the all day info session.  I saw her for my first consult mid april of this year.  She said another 2 - 3 months for the all day session and another six months afterwards for the surgery.  Once you have the first appt, you feel like it should go faster!  So doesn't look like anything will happen til next year!  I understand the frustration and disappointment now of other posters now that I am in the slow zone.  This reminds me of the military and their "hurry up and wait" philosophy!  Just needed to vent!
