Any body get a call lately?

Seems really quiet on here, anyone get a call lately? 

i spoke with a fellow today who put in  for  the lapband in mcton in o7 and got to see the team for consult 1 month ago i thought i had a long wait at 4 yrs

I was put on the list back in October '09 and I called Bathurst yesterday and they are still telling me that they are still in April of '09, so very frustrating, considering I have been waiting 3.5 years.

Really....Ive been on since April '09, havent heard a peep yet....

I hear ya! I am 2 months away from a 4 year wait!  If only they would give us a rough idea!  This summer or in the fall or even say another year....just makes it so hard to plan your life. I am sure all my family and co workers are sick of hearing me say " we'll it all depends if I go for surgery" lol

I was 8 days shy of 4 years when I had my consult. Now I am waiting for the call for surgery. I have everything on hold as well although Dr. Savoie said if the date that I will be given isn't suitable I can reschedule. The only way I would reschedule is if it coincided with my son's graduation.

I have been waiting since October 2008.  I finally got the call on Monday, and go for my first appointment next Friday, the 19th.  Now it is really starting to sink in and become real!  Has anyone else been through this and felt nervous and wondering if this is really what they want.  I really do, but am worried about all the things that can go wrong.  I have heard there is a high rate for losing your gall bladder in the first year after.  Anybody else out there with any worries?

If one isn't in the highest bracket for needing the surgery, ie extreme co-morbidities, how long is the wait approximately for the surgery once you have had your first appt?
