Process before Surgery?
hi i had my surgery done in bathurst......for 2 weeks prior to your surgery i was on boost for diabetics for 14 days 4 bottles a day and all the water you want.......i will b honest i found the 3rd day the worst but once u get past that it gets so much easier.....i had the lap band done and have only lost 30lbs in a year.....i am discouraged but hey i guess im not too strict on what i am suppose to be doing lol.........hope you have a great weight loss and it all goes good for u.......btw i am up in the campbellton area where r u? i was out the next day.......back to work in 2 weeks.
Well the info session I attended included a social worker, a psychologist, the nurse and dietician. They discussed everything you need to know to prep for surgery including the shrink your liver detox diet. I followed that diet to a T and was so glad I did. I had the sleeve and was in the hospital for 5 days. They want to keep you to ensure that there are no issues. I bounced back really quickly and was up and walking around the same day. I did not even have to take any pain meds. Dr. Savoie and his team are angels as are the nurses and staff in Bathurst. I had my surgery in 2011 and I am now 135lbs which is a healthy weight and BMI for the first time in my life. I am so blessed that I had this surgery because it gave me a life never had before. Good Luck!
