Not so sure I will get there.  I have a health issue that creates a mobility issue. Dr. Savoie said that my weight loss would be lower due to the lack of exercise. I hope that he is wrong.

In Bathurst do you have to have a psyche consult? when I read all the posts from Dr Beausoliels patients they talk about it but no one mentioned one for Dr Savoies?

I don't know. I posted this thread to get more information. I didn't know what happens after the info session. I guess I will find out more on the 26th.

Well the info session I attended included a social worker, a psychologist, the nurse and dietician.  They discussed everything you need to know to prep for surgery including the shrink your liver detox diet.  I followed that diet to a T and was so glad I did.  I had the sleeve and was in the hospital for 5 days.  They want to keep you to ensure that there are no issues.  I bounced back really quickly and was up and walking around the same day.  I did not even have to take any pain meds.  Dr. Savoie and his team are angels as are the nurses and staff in Bathurst.  I had my surgery in 2011 and I am now 135lbs which is a healthy weight and BMI for the first time in my life.  I am so blessed that I had this surgery because it gave me a life never had before. Good Luck!

You must be so happy. Did you have to do the diabetic boost 2 weeks before your surgery?
