Bathurst
I saw Dr. Savoie. The appointment is about 2 hours long. You see the bariatric nurse who takes your vitals and medical history, then the dietician, and then the doctor.
I have the information session on March 26th. I asked how long before the surgery and he said a couple of months or sooner. However when I spoke to his secretary she said that it all depends on the availability of the operating rooms.
Bariatric Clinic 544-3306
Office that has the referrals: 548-2727
My referral was from March 9/09 and I have my consult on March 1. It shouldn't be too long for the March referrals to get done. I remember feeling frustrated many times because I was getting different answers as well. I know it seems like a long time and the veterans on this board would tell me that it will go fast. Of course I didn't believe them but now that my consult date is here it seems like the wait wasn't that long. Weird huh?
No it is a different dr. There is actually 4 that is doing surgeries in Nb now.
