surgery

well i just got a call from moncton.

saying they were wondering if i still wanted to be on the wait list as i was referred in 2010 and they had some questions for me as i had to pass some criteria they had.

i love my sleeve but i dont want to have the surgery again. lol

just thought this was a happy post on a cold wednesday :)

Wow...so are they now seeing 2010 referrals?

To be honest im not sure cause it was voicemail and i havent been able to call her back yet. But she did say there maybe a dr. Doing the surgery that would be closer to me. I have no idea if there is another dr doing the surgeries besides bathurst or moncton

I have been waiting on his list since June 2009. Would be very anxious to hear what they say.

I got a call 2 days ago from Moncton as well, wondering if I was still wanting the surgery.  If I did there was now a doctor in Fredericton doing the surgery.  I thanked them very much but said I had mine in Bathurst in August. (Down 70lbs so far!)

i finally got a chance on a work break to call her back.

she was telling me that there is now a Dr. in Fredericton who is taking his first consults. he has yet to do any surgeries.

but that is good news for the future folks in the area so they wont have to do as much traveling.

Does anyone know the name of the dr. In fredericton

His name is dr Boisvert. He has not started doing surgeries yet but has seen a few patients I hear.

Thank you for the information. I have my name in bathurst and the secretary told me i have to wait 3 to 5 yrs. if there is a Dr in Fredericton it would be closer for me to go there.
