March 2009 Referrals Post Here

Just thought I would start a thread for March 2009 referrals, etc. 

My referral went in March 2009 and I received a call today to go for a consult with Dr. Savoie. My appointment is March 1.

My referral date is end of March 2009, no call as of yet for the first consult.

The hospital called me in August since my file had been sent there to see if I was still interested.

jjwbuster, keep us posted on your consult and wait times from there for surgery.

Just wondering if you heard anything yet? My referral went in June 2009. Just wondering if anyone knows how many referrals would they get for each month? Seems like it took forever to get through feb 2009 to march.

Sorry just saw the reply today. I really hate how OH new posts don't bump up the thread. I received my letter for my appointment which is March 1st. That will be just a few days shy of the 4 year mark that my referral went in. Things may end up moving a little faster if there is another doctor starting bariatric surgery in Fredericton.

You will have to find out the inside scoop for us left waiting! Good luck at your appointment and keep us updated!

I feel both happy and very stressed at the same time.

I got the call today for a consult on March 19, 2013 after almost 4 years to the day, my referral was end of March 2009.

My consult was almost 4 years to the day as well. Maybe we will be having our surgery around the same time.

Yes I will. I found it helpful when others posted the process so I hope to do that.

I called the Bariatric Clinic today and was told they are still working on Jan 2009 and picking from Feb...

I was told they see 1 patient per week.

I was not able to find out how  many names in front of me or a timeline..

Keep us posted on your consult!  It's coming soon.. you must be soooo excited!!

Sure thing. I started this thread just for that. I know that as I am waiting I am always looking for the information regarding wait times...what happens next....all of those things.
