Waiting time in Bathurst

Hi, i ask my family Dr. Last week to send a referral to Dr.Savoie. I would like to know i long can it take to have some news from him?

My referral went in March 2009 and I was called today to go for consult March 1.

Its a long wait to go for a consult

Have you called Bathurst to ensure they haven't misplaced your referral? I remember a couple of years ago, one person only waited 10 months to have their surgery. I found that very frustrating.

I am not sure but I believe the wait for Dr. B in Moncton is even longer.  I am closer to Moncton but opted for Bathurst because of the shorter waiting time.

It will be a long wait for me because my referral was sent last week .

My referral was sent to Dr. Savoie end of March 2009.

I was told in the summer by Dr. Savoie's office that they are now 2 doing the surgeries and they are working off the same referral list. 

Has anyone met this new doctor in Bathurst?

Maybe it will go faster for u guys that have been waiting for so long.
