Night Eating....and more
Seems like most of the days, i could care less and have no interest in eating, i would rather just drink my coffee and move on in the day.
However when night time comes, either at work or at home, seems all i want to do is eat!!
It has been worst since the holidays as i am snacking on junk instead of healthy stuff. Really need to get all the junk out of the house once and for all!!
It's not that I'm physically hungry, it's just head hungry, and sometimes it's a bit scary when old habits starts to creep on again. It's way harder now than before, the temptations and cravings are starting to come back and it's not even been 1 year from my surgery yet.
My surgery was Feb-14-2012, anyone else close from this time frame going through the same thing? If so, what are you doing to try to stop these cravings?
I have about 6 weeks till my 1 year surgery date and really want to make the most of it, Dr B once told me that the sleeve only works for about 18 months and I have that constantly in my head that the time is going by so fast and i really don't want to screw this up.
I am hoping to get back on track, stop the grazing, junk food, increase water, decrease coffee, and start exercising 5/week at least 30 mins a day again. I was doing good and our life routine at home changed so much that I kinda got off track and need to get back on ASAP!!
I weigh in on Tuesdays as it was my surgery day, last Tuesday, on Christmas Day I only lost 0.5 lbs and this Tuesday, New Years Day, my weight was the same as last week, so I'm grateful that i haven't had a gain, I've had quite a few stalls, but never gained and it was my fear over the holidays.
So anyone of you brave enough to kick my butt so i can get back on the wagon would be much appreciated!! LOL

I have to agree with you that at this point I seem to find myself eating when I am not actually hungry. I have caught myself grazing as you mention and I am thinking that it might just be on account of having all these munchies, dips, and baked goods around the house from the holidays.
I haven't been the best tracker in the past as you know but I am going to make sure I start tracking my activity for you at least. If you see someone else logging every day maybe it'll give you a competitive jump start!! I change shifts on Monday, January 11th and I plan to use the gym at work at the end of my shift. It'll be after 11pm so it's super late at night but it's a time where my kids and hubby won't miss me and I have no excuse not to go because I'm already at the gym since it is here at work. We'll keep in touch... good luck!

Set my mind to start exercising again after over 2 months of doing nothing. I started Jan 2nd and plan to do it straight out every single day till my next visit which should be for my 1 year! So about 6 weeks or so!! I'm doing good so far!!
Yes I know about you and your tracking!! Always got to keep reminding you to get your butt over there and track your food!!! HAHA,
Well everyone is different and for me it's a NECESSITY to track my food daily as if i don't, I know it will just be a matter of time if or when I would fully go back to bad habits....well I'm making sure that doesn't happen anyway as this makes me realize what I put in my mouth at all times and that is what works for me.
WOW a gym at work must be awesome!! Take fully advantage, I would love it if we did have one where I work!!
I find it hard to exercise at home as with my now 4 year old, the other day it took me about 1 hr to get in 30 mins as he always wanted something or needed help with something, so my plan now is to do it first thing in the morning. So when we get up I get his breakfast ready, put him in front of the TV and then hope that gives me 30 mins for me to exercise and get in my first bottle of water in. Then after I go for a shower and by that time I am able to have my breakfast. I found before if i had breakfast before, it would take me about 30 mins to 1 hr to eat breakfast, then I would have to wait 1 hr after before doing my exercise as I can't drink water till 1 hr after I eat, so by that time, sometimes there would always be something else come up or I would loose the power to do it and this way, if i push myself to do it first thing, then there is no excuse later on, seems to be working so far !!!
