In a very short time, I have finally reached my 100 lbs lost as well as onederland all within 2 weeks. I don't remember the last time I was at this weight, might have been my senior year in high school. It feels awesome when you step up on that scale to see a 1 in front of your weight and not a 2 or a 3. Words are not enough to express that feeling. I can't tolerate bread or most pastas. However, I have had no problems getting down any type of protein so far. Getting more active the more weight comes off, my husband has trouble keeping up with this new me but I am sure it won't be long till he catches on that this new me is here to stay. Since I have been with him, we have always been active but he never understood the restrictions my weight had on the activities I loved doing before. He is an awesome support system along with my friends and family. This support system is what keeps me on the right track and helped me out during the toughest weeks of my life, the first few weeks following surgery.

WOW..you rock...I was just the week before you...I wish I could get my butt more active...just not on my daily list of thing to do...I KNOW...I NEED to make it a priority, but it is just so hard...SO hearing your story is a real motivator for me...thanks for posting and reminding me of the great results that are achievable .....I have been sitting around 275 lbs since the first of Oct...just not moving...I need to switch things up and make a change....BUT I am down 100 lbs since Feb, when I started Atkins in prep. for surgery.....and that puts me -70 from my surgery date...SO not too bad...but could be better I think....

Keep up the great work and keep posting...it is always nice to hear from everyone about what works for them and what everyone is doing to have great results...

Thanks

You are doing great keep it up. Don't judge your loss on someone else's as we all lose at a different pace. I found getting active was easier with activities i really love. I also figured out that my kids,9 & 6love hiking and now ask togo. It helps to have the family support and depending on the age of ur children they can be great motivators. Once you tell a child you are going to do something, they won't ever let you forget it or opt not to do it. Mine would bug me until i conclude its easier just to get it done and i always feel better after giving in to them when its for excercises.
