Thanks for the update Henry, and for helping to direct our journey Tracey. I'll touch base with them next week to make the msg is consistent and to see if there's any change.

I FINALLY heard from Julie today.  She put my file through to the bariatric centre for surgery but would like to see me as well. She said that Dr B is taking the whole month of December off but it would certainly be great if he wasn't. I know most hospitals cut back on surgeries and close beds during December. I'm going to call when they reopen their offices on Tuesday and see if I can set up my sign-off appointment.

What was your last appt with the doctor like Henry?  It's a little more exciting now that the approval has been given!

AWESOME news, glad you heard from Julie.  The meeting with her was an eye opener to me and was really good.

The meeting with Dr. B was great, he explained everything out very well of exactly what was  and wasnt going to happen and if I agreed To sign the papers.

Julie was great in allowing me to change my appointment for the same day as one trip was much better than going twice. 

You will notice that It will go so fast now.

I didn't notice until after my post that you were at the office last Friday Henry, I didn't realize they were open on Fridays. I'll call tomorrow and see if they're open and if I can get an appointment.

I called Nathalie on Tuesday morning to see if I could make an appointment to sign off my surgery consent forms. I was informed that she is off all week and no one else is booking appointments. I'll check back with her on Monday. I'm hoping to get in and get my papers signed before Dr. B. goes off in December.

I FINALLY got my appointment with the doctor to sign off on my consent forms!  The appointment is for this Friday afternoon, November 23rd. I had a couple of other things scheduled for that date but the next appointment the doctor had wasn't until Monday, December 3rd, so I took the appointment for the 23rd and rescheduled my other appointments. Yea, it's happening!

That's awesome news.  Glad to hear that things are kicking into gear and moving along quickly :~)

I signed my consent papers today! What a great feeling. 

YEAH YEAH Cindy!!!  I am so happy for you...Good luck...and you made the right decision by changing the other appointments!!!  Yes finally...you will be in Jan and off to the losers bench.....COMGRATS!!!!!!
