3 Month Update...
VSG on 05/10/12
SO, 3 months out and the world is a much better place!!!! since my surgery on May 10th, I am down 50 lbs and a total loss of 85 lbs since Feb when I went onto the Atkins plan as prep for the surgery....I am really lucky I think becasue it is summer and we can get away with wearing shorts and tanks...so I haven't had to buy any great amount of clothing.....
I am still VERY limited on how much food I can actually eat at meal time...and sometimes wven what I eat...but my bigger problem is sitting down to eat...because I am not hungry, sometimes I do not eat, and I KNOW that isn't a good thing either...so I really have to set my times and eat something....
While I was at our family cottage in July, my wonderful sister-in-law pushed my to start walking with her...so every day she would arrive and we would go...started out at about 1 km and after 5 days we were up to almost 5 km...and feeling good....I have tried to continue it back here in town and have maped out a route where I walk about 4 km when I do it...so far I have been able to do it 5 days a week and lossing much faster...I was only down about 8-9 lbs i=for the month of July...and now I have lost 10 lbs in the first 10 days......OMG could walking and liniting the food be the key to success....WOW like we have never heard that before.....too funny...but it all comes in time I guess....time meaning...when we are ready to hear the message and actually do it.....
ANYWAY.....Thanks to everyone for all the support and advice I got over the last 6 months
