After a 7 year wait.... (They lost my first referral), I have been waiting 5.5 years since my second referral was sent. I signed my papers two weeks ago and waited... UNTIL TODAY I got the call for my pre-op Aug 30 and my surgery date is Sept 21st. I have been flying as high as a kite.... and I am as anxious as a kid Christmas eve. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!

Actually I did, and they had it... but I called after two years and they didn't have one and I was nowhere to see seen. So my PCP had to submit another one. Thanks

Thank you so much and I plan on keeping updates as this site (although I posted very little) was instrumental with some of my changes prior to my upcoming surgery and all the input was well received and appreciated. I keep hearing about the losers bench... and I can wait to get on it... but then again... I don't plan on sitting on it... I plan on running on it :o)

Congrats, and good luck...the surgery was the easy part for me....getting my water and protein in the first 6 weeks after surgery was the challange.....It DOES get easier every day....Aug 10 will be my 3 mt post-date, and I am down a total of 45 lbs ....and I have just really started to get out and walk, so it is actually coming off faster now.....I was really tired the first 6-8 ..but now great...you will do fine and have a great recovery...use this site to ask the questions psot-surgery once you are home....Dr B is great....Good luck and keep us updated...
