Meeting on PEI

I am looking at getting a few of us togather to meet over coffer and help support each other.....there are 3-4 of us here on PEI who have had sleeves done in the last 6 months or so, but there seems to be alot more people who are still waiting.....

If you are interested in getting togather and just chatting, friend me and I will let you know when and where we will meet!!!   Maybe in Aug.....

Although I mentioned on the PEI board that I hoped to attend, I'll note it here so others can see folks are really interested in this locally.

I am in NB. I'm sorry I haven"t been on the boards in awhile. I just got my surgery date and I had to tell someone. It's September 18th. I'm having the "sleeve", I'm excited and presently my stomache is doing flip-flops. I wish I could meet with you. I was just in PEI  last week for my grandson was attending hockey school in Charlottetown. Thank you for accepting my friend request Islandmomma.

 YEAH for you......I went on to the Atkins diet plan for 3 months before my surgery just to get ready for it and to get my mind set too...so since surgery on May 10th I am down 45 lbs, but since Feb 22 I am down 75...funny enough, I don't really feel that different in the body size, but I am what you would call a "Heavy weight" so I still have over 120 lbs to go.....

I loved the shole experience....so if you have any questions or concerns..just ask......I I am on line almost daily...and am here ot support if you need it....
