HELP- bandsters
I landed back in the hospital last night again. They wired me up, filled me up, & ultra-sounded me. I am back home feeling much better. ....That is until I try to do the least little thing & I am quickly reminded that I need to rest. I may be feeling much better but I am going to take another day off work.
BTW God bless those nurses- They were wonderful. One young fella put my hand on his leg so he could try to get a vain in my hand & I told him that that normally, if I have my hand on a handsome young man's leg, I would have a drink in the other hand! He called me a sweetheart! Imagine! LOL.....I was expecting the needle in the hand to hurt but it didn't & I commented on it. That sweetie had gotten a child sized needle so it wouldn't. The nurse on the other side was starting an IV & even though she had to dig a bit,she was so gentle that it didn't hurt nearly as much as it could have.

It is a very virulent bug that is making the rounds up your way. Both my grammie and her husband were hospitalized over the past few days with this type of illness. They live in Kentville. They are in their 90's and not doing well. :( Take care of yourself Kitty and be good to yourself and take the time you need to get feeling well and strong! PS Glad to hear you had good nurse stories to share!
